EasyJet Flight Diverted to Gatwick Over Passenger Safety Scare

Chaos hit EasyJet flight EZY6294 on Thursday night when a routine Bristol Airport arrival turned into an emergency diversion to Gatwick. Scheduled to land at Bristol at 11:08 p.m., the plane instead touched down at Gatwick at 10:54 p.m.

Passenger Safety Sparks Sudden Change

EasyJet blamed the unscheduled detour on a “passenger safety concern.” The airline apologised on its website, saying:

“We’re very sorry that your flight has now been diverted. The disruption to your flight is outside of our control and is considered to be an extraordinary circumstance.”

Passengers Left Waiting as Flight Stalls

EasyJet promised to refuel the plane and continue the journey as soon as possible, with updates to come from the cabin crew. But for now, stranded passengers face an unexpected wait.
