Ryanair Jet Diverts to Bristol Over Medical Emergency

A Ryanair flight heading to Manchester declared a dramatic emergency over the English Channel tonight. Flight FR3233 from Malaga, a Boeing 737-8AS, was forced to divert and made an emergency landing at Bristol Airport just before 10:30pm on Sunday.

Emergency Over English Channel Sparks Urgent Landing

The plane issued a general emergency call while approaching UK airspace. Bristol Airport Duty Manager James confirmed the diversion was due to a medical emergency onboard, but offered no further details.

Passengers were safely brought down as crews scrambled to respond to the situation.
