A38 Shut Northbound After Car Overturns Between Lichfield and Alrewas
The A38 in Staffordshire is currently closed northbound between the A5127 at Lichfield and the A513 near Alrewas following a crash involving an overturned vehicle. Emergency services, including Staffordshire Police, are on the scene.

Official Diversion Routes in Place
Motorists are advised to follow this clearly marked diversion:
- At the A38/A5192 junction in Lichfield, leave the A38 and join the A5192 westbound (Cappers Lane).
- Follow the hollow black square diversion signs along Cappers Lane and Eastern Avenue until reaching the A51 (Stafford Road).
- Turn north on the A51 to the A515 junction, then take the A515 northbound (Featherbed Lane) to the A513 at King Bromley.
- Join the A513 eastbound (Alrewas Road) and continue to rejoin the A38 at Alrewas.
Expect disruptions and drive carefully through the diversion.
