Volunteer Heroes Pour Funds for Life-Saving Ride

A paramedic from the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance dropped by St Mary’s Hospital today to personally thank the League of Friends volunteers. The charity crew donated over £20,000—all raised from the hospital’s shop and two bustling coffee bars.

30,000 Cups of Coffee Fuel Critical Care Vehicle

The hardworking volunteers brewed more than 30,000 cups of coffee to raise the crucial funds. Their efforts paid off, providing all the essential life-saving medical gear for the Air Ambulance’s brand-new Critical Care Vehicle.
