Aldi has revealed it will close all UK stores on Monday, December 25, and Tuesday, December 26, 2023. Shops will reopen on Wednesday, December 27. This rare move puts staff first, allowing workers to enjoy quality time with family over the festive period.

New Christmas Jobs and Pay Boosts
- Aldi is hiring 3,000 new store roles, including Store Assistants, managers, and cleaners.
- Starting pay is £11.40 per hour nationally, rising to £12.85 inside the M25.
- Another 1,500 roles open at regional distribution centres for warehouse and logistics positions.
