All lanes of the M25 clockwise are shut near Clacket Lane services between Junction 4 and Junction 6 after a serious collision involving a car and a lorry. The crash happened just after 8am on Thursday.
Traffic Nightmare – Massive Delays Build
Highways England report a heavy police and traffic officer presence at the scene. The closures are expected to last until at least 10:15 to 10:30am. Drivers face delays of around 30 minutes, with traffic queues stretching nearly six miles back from the crash site.
M26 Motorway Also Closed – Diversions In Place
In addition to the M25 shutdown, the M26 motorway has also been closed, adding to the gridlock. Commuters are urged to avoid the area and seek alternative routes to dodge snarls.
