Amanda Owen, the much-loved star of Our Yorkshire Farm, has shared heart-wrenching news. Her loyal border collie, Kate, has died peacefully in her sleep.
The 48-year-old farm queen paid tribute to Kate as her “trustworthy coworker, companion, colleague, and friend.” Amanda posted a touching Instagram snap showing Kate enjoying life on the farm alongside the sad announcement.
“Then there’s the other kind of mourning,” Amanda wrote. “This is where you go to retrieve your loyal workmate, companion, colleague, and friend from her kennel… only to discover that she had died in her sleep. That’ll do, Kate.”
The tribute was accompanied by a sobbing emoji, with fans and friends flooding the post with condolences.
