Argos Unveils 2024’s Must-Have Christmas Toys

Get ready, UK shoppers! Argos has just dropped its ultimate Christmas toy list for 2024. This year’s picks blend nostalgic throwbacks with fresh, interactive fun designed to spark kids’ creativity and imagination.

Retro Favourites Make a Beastly Comeback

Old-school toys are back with a bang. Furby, the iconic 90s electronic pet, has exploded in popularity, with searches up a staggering 237%. Throwbacks like Beyblades, Polly Pocket, and a revamped Trivial Pursuit game called Drop Trivia are also making waves, delighting parents and kids alike.

“There’s a real mix of influences this Christmas, with simple, classic toys continuing to resonate, while nostalgic favourites make a strong comeback,” said Nina Findley, Argos’s Director of Toy Buying.

Licensed Characters and High-Tech Hits Steal the Spotlight

Fans of TV and movies won’t be disappointed. The Bluey House Mega Bundle is perfect for little fans, while Disney’s plush Stitch toy is a cosy companion. LEGO sets inspired by the new Wicked movie and a dancing Groot for Marvel enthusiasts also top the charts.

Plus, educational and interactive toys like The Goo Jitzu Hero Creator encourage scientific play, and screen-free fun comes in the form of The Story Dream Machine. Tech-savvy kids will love Teksta Purr and Daisy the Yoga Goat, blending tech with playtime.

Argos: The UK’s Toy Trend Predictor

Since 1973, Argos has been the go-to store for toys. “We’re proud to continue delivering the best for children and their families,” added Findley. The full list of Top Toys for Christmas 2024 is out now, with prices from £15 to £89.99.
