“The hardest thing is putting the ball in the net,” Arteta added. “We scored twice but conceded two poor goals. At this level, top players punish every mistake.” He also conceded that conceding was part of football’s unpredictability. “Of course, we’re disappointed, but you have to live with it.”
Adding to Arsenal’s woes, Declan Rice was forced off with a back injury. “He looked really uncomfortable, had to take him off,” Arteta revealed.
