Body Found at Seaford Beach Sparks Major Emergency Response
A man’s body was discovered in the water at Seaford Beach on Wednesday afternoon, triggering a significant emergency operation.
Rescue Teams Rush to Scene
The grim discovery came at around 2:05pm, prompting an urgent call to emergency services. Sussex Police, the local coastguard, a Coastguard Helicopter, and the Newhaven RNLI lifeboat were quickly dispatched to recover the body and launch an investigation.
Police Hunt for Identity and Cause of Death
Sussex Police have yet to identify the man or determine how he ended up in the water. A police spokesperson said, “Enquiries are ongoing, alongside partner agencies, to identify the man and establish the full circumstances of the situation. No further information is available at this time.”
