Tragic Hamstreet House Fire Kills Child, Leaves Family Hurt
A deadly fire tore through a home on White Admiral Way, Hamstreet, Ashford, leaving one child dead and two others injured. Another child and an adult were rushed to hospital, while three firefighters suffered minor injuries tackling the blaze.

At the height of the inferno on Sunday, six fire engines and a height vehicle swarmed the scene. The Kent Fire and Rescue Service’s technical rescue unit stayed on site, working to secure the badly damaged house.
Investigation Underway as Fire Crews Mop Up
Authorities have launched an investigation to find out what sparked the devastating fire. Firefighters are still damping down hotspots to make the building safe.
“Three firefighters suffered minor injuries but have been discharged from hospital,” confirmed KFRS.
