Tragedy at Bank Tube: Person Killed by Train
A grim scene unfolded at Bank Tube station yesterday afternoon when a person was struck and killed by a train just before 12:10 PM on July 21. Emergency services rushed to the scene amid shocked commuters.
Emergency Teams Race to the Scene
The London Ambulance Service deployed a full response including an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response vehicle, an incident response officer, and the Hazardous Area Response Team. London’s Air Ambulance also joined the effort to provide urgent support.
Despite their swift actions, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity remains undisclosed as next of kin are yet to be informed.
