Firefighters rush to tackle blaze at Farnham home
Three fire crews from Surrey and Hampshire sprang into action after a property fire broke out in Farnham around 1.30pm today. Teams from Station 1 and Rushmore arrived swiftly to battle the flames.
Quick response limits damage
Firefighters donned breathing apparatus and used a hose reel to get the fire under control from inside the property. Initially, there were fears the homeowners might be unaccounted for, but thankfully everyone is safe.
Cause of the blaze revealed
The fire is believed to have started when a toaster caught fire, sparking the blaze. Thanks to the crews’ quick actions, the fire damage was limited and prevented from spreading further.
No serious injuries reported
Thankfully, the damage is minor and no one was hurt during the incident. Emergency services praised the swift response that kept the situation from escalating.
