Flames in Maidstone Oven Spark Rapid Fire Response
Kent Fire and Rescue Service rushed to a blaze at a house in Luddenham Close, Maidstone, after reports of an oven fire.

Two fire engines arrived promptly. Firefighters, dressed in breathing gear, doused the flames using a hose reel jet. Luckily, the fire stayed confined to the oven.
A high-pressure fan was fired up to clear the smoke from the home. The occupants were already outside and escaped injury.
