Southampton Kids Take on Tower Challenge for Air Ambulance Charity

Sixty kids from a Southampton City Council community project are set to climb their way to fitness and fundraising glory. On Tuesday, 5 April, from 10am to 2pm, they’ll tackle a gruelling trek up and down five tower blocks, raising cash for the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance (HIoWAA).

1,820 Steps, Five Towers, One Big Cause

The Junior Neighbourhood Wardens’ Five Tower Challenge involves scaling a total of 1,820 steps at Hampton, Harve, Oslo, Copenhagen, and Rotterdam Towers along International Way. Whether walking or running, these young charity warriors will put their stamina to the test to support lifesaving air ambulance services.

Community Spirit Meets Fitness

This event not only boosts local kids’ fitness but also strengthens community ties while raising vital funds. Organisers say the challenge encourages healthy habits and teaches children the importance of giving back.
