Officers were scrambled to Weymouth train lines at 2:25 a.m. on Thursday. There, they found 15-year-old Roxy Phillips unresponsive on the tracks. Paramedics battled to save her but sadly, Roxy was pronounced dead at the scene.
Family’s Heartbreaking Statement
Roxy’s family spoke out through the British Transport Police, urging the public to be aware of railway dangers. “Most don’t realise the third rail is live 24/7, all year round,” they warned. “This was a tragic accident we will never overcome as a family.”
The grieving relatives remembered Roxy as a “strong-willed young woman” and a devoted animal lover, especially passionate about her horse, Bradley.
