Unconscious Angler Sparks Lifeboat Launch Off Seaview
Bembridge RNLI’s Inshore Lifeboat zoomed into action at 10:44 this morning after reports of an unconscious angler onboard a 40-foot charter boat near Seaview.
Quick Rescue Mission Ends Calmly
The relief D-Class Inshore Lifeboat, RNLB Hick’s Help, swiftly reached the vessel. Thankfully, the angler had regained consciousness and was even back to fishing by the time help arrived.
Casualty Declines Further Checks
Despite coordinating with the duty doctor who recommended a thorough check ashore, both the angler and skipper refused. The lifeboat then headed back, docking safely by 11:15am.
