Traffic on the M20 near Ashford came to a standstill today after reports of a man seen standing on a bridge above the motorway. The drama unfolded at Junction 10, forcing police to shut the motorway in both directions to keep drivers safe.

Eyewitnesses said the man was wearing a hospital gown, raising serious concerns. Emergency services rushed to the scene, quickly sealing off the motorway and causing major tailbacks across east Kent, especially around Ashford.
