M3 Westbound Shuts After Serious Four-Car Pileup Near Bagshot

The M3 westbound is shut after a nasty multi-vehicle crash involving four cars. Emergency teams rushed to the scene shortly after 12:15pm on Saturday, between Junction 2 and Junction 3 near Bagshot.

Seven Caught Up, One Trapped in Crash

Seven people are believed to be involved. Firefighters from Surrey Fire and Rescue from Camberley, Chertsey, and Staines are on site, battling to free one person trapped inside a vehicle. The trapped person’s injuries are not yet known.

Paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service are also helping those involved, but the condition of the others remains unclear.

Long Road Closure and Delays Expected

Surrey Police confirmed that the M3 westbound will stay closed for hours. Investigations are underway and the vehicles must be recovered.

Drivers are urged to avoid the area and take alternative routes to dodge major delays.
