Serious Collision Shakes Stoke on Trent
A man is fighting for his life after being hit by a lorry just outside Royal Stoke University Hospital this morning. The crash happened at 9.11am on the busy A34 Newcastle Road.
Emergency Response Rushes to Scene
West Midlands Ambulance Service rushed two ambulances and a paramedic officer to the scene. A spokeswoman said: “Ambulance staff arrived to find a pedestrian, a man, who had sustained serious injuries following a collision with a lorry.”
Victim Rushed to Hospital with Serious Injuries
The man received urgent trauma care on site before being whisked away under blue lights to the nearby hospital for emergency treatment.
