Manhunt Launched for White Van Driver After Fatal Hit-and-Run in Sutton
A desperate manhunt is underway in Sutton after a white van smashed into a woman before speeding off, leaving her dead at the scene.
Tragic Hit-and-Run Shocks Sutton Residents
Police were called to Tonfield Road, Sutton, at 6.57pm following a horror crash involving two vehicles. Despite heroic efforts from paramedics and the Air Ambulance, the woman was pronounced dead on impact.
Driver Flees Scene – Police Issue Stern Warning
The driver of the white van vanished from the scene, prompting a full-scale hit-and-run investigation. Police are now hunting the culprit, pleading for them to do the right thing and turn themselves in.
This won’t go away and we will find you,” a Met Police spokesman warned. “Officers remain on scene and enquiries are ongoing to locate the vehicle. No arrests have been made yet.”
