Four-Vehicle Crash in Dorset Leaves Motorcyclist Seriously Injured
Dorset Police rushed to a four-vehicle smash on Parley Lane at 1.20pm on Tuesday 6 April 2021. The crash happened near the junction with Merritown Lane, involving a black Seat Arona, a grey Kawasaki motorcycle, a grey Vauxhall Astra, and a black Citroen DS3.
Motorcyclist Taken to Hospital
The motorcycle rider, a Bournemouth man in his 60s, suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries. He was quickly rushed to Poole Hospital by ambulance. Thankfully, no other injuries were reported.
Emergency services closed roads to manage the scene and conduct a thorough investigation.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
“We are carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances of this collision,” said PC Gavin Newbury of the traffic unit. “I urge anyone who witnessed the crash or the vehicles’ driving before the incident to come forward if you haven’t already spoken to police.”
“If you were driving nearby at the time, please check your dashcam footage for anything useful.”
