Serious Crash Closes M20 Near Folkestone
Kent Fire and Rescue Service rushed to a major collision on the M20 between junctions 11a and 12 near Folkestone. Three fire engines and a technical rescue unit were scrambled to the scene.
Air Ambulance Called to Scene
Emergency teams from SECAmb, Kent Police, and the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance Service joined fire crews. One victim was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.
Road Still Shut as Investigations Continue
The stretch of motorway remains closed while the Serious Collision Investigation Unit carries out inquiries. Drivers are warned to steer clear of the area. Dover roads are already choked with heavy traffic and port delays.
