Serious Crash Shuts M20 Near Folkestone
Kent Fire and Rescue Service rushed to a major collision on the M20 between junctions 11a and 12. Three fire engines and a technical rescue unit were scrambled to the scene.
Air Ambulance Called After Serious Injuries
Emergency teams from SECAmb, Kent Police, and the Kent, Surrey, and Sussex Air Ambulance Service were also on site. One person suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to hospital.
M20 Scene Remains Closed Amid Investigation
The road remains shut as specialists from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit probe the crash. Drivers are urged to avoid the area where traffic is already gridlocked, especially around Dover due to port delays.
