Blaze Breaks Out in Paulsgrove Sheds – Fire Crews Rush In
Firefighters from Cosham and Portchester scrambled to tackle a blaze in Neelands Grove, Paulsgrove, at 10am today.
Three Sheds and Fencing Ablaze
Emergency services received multiple calls reporting three sheds and some fencing up in flames. One crew from Portsmouth and two from Cosham battled the fire using three jets. The flames were fully doused by 11am. Thankfully, no one was hurt.
Quick Response Praised
The teams wore breathing apparatus to tackle the smoke-heavy scene. Portchester Fire Station gave a shoutout to Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire Control for swiftly sending a third unit, thanks to the volume of calls about the spreading fire.
