Man Seriously Injured After Horror Hit-and-Run in Birmingham
A man was left fighting for his life after a nasty road traffic collision in Birmingham last night.
Crash at Busy Handsworth Junction
The West Midlands Ambulance Service rushed to the scene at 11.06pm after reports of a crash involving a pedestrian and a car at the junction of Gibson Road and Handsworth Wood Road.
Two paramedic officers, a MERIT trauma team, and an ambulance attended the incident, working quickly to provide urgent medical care.
Pedestrian Found in Critical Condition
A West Midlands Ambulance spokeswoman said: “Ambulance staff arrived to find a pedestrian, a man, in a serious condition following the collision. The team worked to administer trauma care before rushing him to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham for specialist treatment.
Ongoing Investigation Underway
Police and emergency crews remain at the scene investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. Authorities are urging witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
