Blaze Destroys Roof and Floors of Three-Storey Building

Firefighters fought a fierce blaze that gutted the roof and second floor of a three-storey building. Part of the first floor also suffered damage, but thankfully no one was hurt.

Emergency Services Battle Flames for Hours

The fire brigade kicked off their response at 7.47pm after 21 calls flooded the Control Office. Crews from Forest Hill, Bromley, Woolside, Lewisham, Beckenham, and Lee Green rushed to the scene. It took until 10.00pm to get the fire under control.

Investigation Underway After Major Fire

Firefighters stayed for hours afterward, damping down hotspots to prevent flare-ups. The cause of the blaze remains a mystery and is currently being probed by investigators.
