Teenage girl dies after being pulled from Ducklington Lake in Witney

Emergency services rush to Ducklington Lake

A teenage girl was pulled from Ducklington Lake in Witney at 2.35pm today (18/7) following a fear for welfare report. Police, fire, and ambulance teams responded swiftly to the scene.

Tragic death confirmed

The girl was rushed to hospital but sadly died later despite efforts to save her.

Investigation underway, family supported

Her family have been informed and are receiving support from specially trained officers. Police say the death is being treated as unexplained and non-suspicious. A file will be sent to the coroner.
