Red Eagle Engine Trouble Hits Cross-Solent Ferries
Red Funnel’s Red Eagle ferry is stuck in tech trouble, sparking cancellations and delays on crucial Solent routes.
Two Key Sailings Cancelled
- The 9 a.m. Southampton to Cowes trip is cancelled.
- The 10.30 a.m. Cowes to Southampton sailing is also scrapped.
Technical Fault Blamed
The operator blames a glitch with the ferry’s forward main engine for the disruption.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused,” said Red Funnel.
