Four Fire Engines Battle Flames on North Circular Road
Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers raced to tackle a fierce fire this morning at a house converted into flats on the North Circular Road, Neasden. Flames badly damaged half of the ground floor and part of the first floor of the terraced building.
Evacuations and Hospital Treatment
Two residents fled the burning property before the firefighters arrived but were rushed to hospital by London Ambulance crews. Another occupant was rescued unscathed by brave firefighters wearing breathing apparatus.
Meanwhile, four adults and two children living next door evacuated safely before the Brigade turned up.
Quick Response Brings Fire Under Control
The London Fire Brigade was called just after 8am, with fire crews from Willesden, Hendon, and West Hampstead stations descending on the scene. The blaze was under control by 9.30am.
Cause Under Investigation
Officials are now probing what sparked the fire as emergency teams continue their inquiries.
