Chaos on A27 Eastbound as Vehicle Overturns in Southwick Tunnel
Traffic is at a standstill on the A27 Eastbound after a vehicle flipped inside the Southwick Tunnel, forcing the road to close completely.
Emergency Services Rush to the Scene
The KSS Air Ambulance attended the crash but has since left, heading back to base. Sussex Roads Police confirmed they’re working to clear the wreckage.
“If you’re stuck in or near the Southwick Hill Tunnel on the A27, we’re recovering the crashed vehicle now and hope to get you moving soon. Thanks for your patience,” police said at 6:43 pm.
