Fire Erupts on Second Floor

Firefighters rushed to Tottenham Hotspur football club after a fire broke out in an office on the second floor. The blaze ignited just before 11am on Thursday, sending alarm bells ringing across the famous stadium on High Road.

300 Evacuated as Firefighters Battle Flames

With around 300 people inside – the stadium was being used as a Covid-19 vaccination centre – staff swiftly evacuated the building. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.

Quick Response Keeps Damage Minimal

The London Fire Brigade arrived fast, dispatching two engines from Tottenham Fire Station. Damage was limited to an air compressor, and the fire was fully under control within an hour, by 10:59am.

A fire brigade spokesman confirmed: “Firefighters were called to a fire at a football stadium on High Road in Tottenham this morning. Around 300 people were evacuated by on-site staff. There were no reports of injuries.”
