Missing Teen from Blandford: Police Launch Urgent Appeal
Police are scrambling to find missing 17-year-old Shannon Smith, who vanished from her Blandford home in Alner Road. She was last seen between 3.30am and 9am yesterday morning and is believed to have caught a train to Portsmouth, arriving there at 7.58pm.
Vulnerable Teen Last Seen in Blandford
Shannon is described as vulnerable and officers are growing increasingly worried for her safety. She is white, around 5ft 6in tall, slim, with long straight mousey brown hair.
At the time she disappeared, Shannon was reportedly wearing a black leather jacket, T-shirt, and leggings.
Police Plea: Spot Shannon? Step Forward Now
Chief Inspector Rob Chalkley of Dorset Police said, “We are continuing to make enquiries to locate Shannon and have carried out several searches around Blandford.”
“I urge anyone who recognises her from the photo or description, or has info on her whereabouts, to contact us immediately. Shannon, if you see this, please get in touch with us or your family — we want to make sure you’re safe.”
