Boy Cyclist Crashes Into Coach Near St Peter’s Railway Bridge

An air ambulance was scrambled after a boy on a bike smashed into a coach at the corner of Beacon Road and Church Street around 8pm on Tuesday, May 8th.

Helicopter Touches Down, But No Airlift

The rescue chopper landed at Thanet Wanderers rugby pitch nearby. Thankfully, the boy was not flown to hospital by air, suggesting injuries weren’t critical.

Emergency Services Rush to Scene

Paramedics arrived swiftly to treat the youngster at the scene. The incident caused disruption around St Peter’s railway bridge during the evening rush hour.
