Man Left with Serious Head Injury After Late-Night Attack in Cowplain
Police are hunting witnesses to a savage assault outside The Spotted Cow pub in Cowplain. The victim, a 49-year-old man, was attacked between 12.30am and 1.10am on Saturday, November 19.
Violent Attack Near Pub
The man reportedly had a run-in with a group of men outside the London Road pub. After walking away, he was assaulted near the junction with King’s Road by one of the group members.
Witnesses described the attackers as men in their 20s, with one wearing a distinctive long brown jacket.
Serious Head Injury
The victim was rushed to Queen Alexandra Hospital with a serious head injury. Police urge anyone who saw anything — before or during the attack — to come forward.
