Man dies from head injury in Brockenhurst, murder probe underway

Hampshire police have named the man who died in Brockenhurst this week. Officers were called to an address on Brookley Road on Monday afternoon after reports of a man needing medical help.

The victim, 33-year-old Chinese national Xiu Bin Wang, was pronounced dead at the scene. He lived at 1 Chef, Brookley Road.

Head injury confirmed as cause of death

A post-mortem revealed Mr Wang died from a head injury. Police say investigations are ongoing to uncover what happened.

Suspect arrested and bailed

A 34-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder. He was released on bail pending further enquiries until 17 September.

Officers are maintaining close contact with the Chinese Embassy as the investigation continues.
