Fugitive Burglar Jason Sufi On The Run After Daring Jail Break
Thames Valley Police are hunting Jason Sufi, 39, who made a bold escape from HMP Springhill in Buckinghamshire on Wednesday, 20 February at around 1.15pm.
Prison Break Sparks Nationwide Manhunt
Sufi, serving a nine-year indeterminate sentence for burglary, false imprisonment, and robbery, vanished from the Grendon Underwood prison. Officers warn he’s now linked to a fresh spree of burglaries spanning Oxfordshire, Kent, Cambridgeshire, Hampshire and Wiltshire.
What He Looks Like
- White male, approx. 5ft 6ins
- Olive skin, dark hair, medium build
- Last spotted wearing a light blue tracksuit with socks pulled over the bottoms
Police Urge Public Vigilance
“He may have travelled elsewhere across the UK, so we would like to speak to anyone who has any information as to his whereabouts,” said Detective Sergeant Bruce Wilson from Aylesbury police station.
“If you see him, do not approach. Call 999 immediately quoting reference 43190054895.”
