Man Stabbed to Death in Slough Tesco Car Park

Thames Valley Police have launched a murder probe after a stabbing in Slough this afternoon. Emergency services were called to the underground car park at Tesco on Wellington Street at 12:32pm on May 8 following reports of a man being stabbed.

Victim Dies Despite Emergency Efforts

Police and South Central Ambulance Service rushed to the scene. The victim was rushed to hospital but was sadly pronounced dead. His next of kin have yet to be informed.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

“This is a shocking incident in which a man has lost his life,” said Detective Superintendent Ian Hunter, head of the Major Crime Unit. “Our task now is to find out what happened and bring the offender or offenders to justice.”

He urged the media and public to hold off on identifying the victim until the family has been informed and formal ID confirmed. “We understand the community will be concerned, but we’re carrying out an extensive investigation, reviewing CCTV, collecting witness statements and conducting forensic exams.”

“We need the public’s help. If you saw or heard anything suspicious or have mobile phone, dashcam, or CCTV footage, please come forward.”

Scene Closed as Investigation Continues

The Tesco underground car park remains closed during the investigation. Police ask people to avoid the area while vital enquiries are carried out.
