Man airlifted to major trauma centre following collision

A man is in a life threatening condition after a serious road traffic collision on Oxford Street, W1. Scotland Yard say police were called just before 9.00pm to reports of a collision involving a bus and a male pedestrian. The man was flown via London’s Air Ambulance to a Major Trauma Centre in west London. There have been no arrests the Met say. Cordons remain in place and traffic is being diverted away from the scene.
