Emergency services called to an overturned vehicle on A3 near Petersfield

Emergency services have been called to a serious collision involving a single. Vehicle that has over turned on the busy A3 near Buriton. Fire crews were mobilised just before 5am to the vehicle that had come to rest on its side. Part of the A3 has been closed to allow rescuers to gain access to the vehicle. Paramedics from South central ambulance service are treating those involved after the driver span out and lost control of the vehicle on the notorious accident black spot. Officers from Hampshire Constabulary Roads policing are also in attendance along with three fire appliances from Havant and Cosham and further specialists Rescue support vehicle containing extra cutting equipment it is also been sent to the incident.
