Emergency services rushed to the scene of a serious crash on the busy A3 near Buriton early this morning. A single vehicle flipped onto its side just before 5am, blocking part of the notorious accident black spot.
Fire Crews and Paramedics Battle to Rescue Victims
Firefighters from Havant and Cosham, including a Rescue Support Vehicle with advanced cutting gear, worked swiftly to reach the trapped driver. Paramedics from South Central Ambulance Service are treating those involved after the vehicle spun out of control.
Police Shut Part of A3 as Investigation Underway
Hampshire Constabulary Roads Policing officers are on-site, managing traffic and investigating the cause. The A3 remains partially closed to allow rescue efforts. Conditions of the victims are still unknown. Stay tuned for updates.
