Murder Probe Launched After Brutal Stratford Stabbing

Police have launched a murder investigation after a teenage boy was fatally stabbed in Stratford. The shocking attack happened late Tuesday evening in Byford Close, E15.

Teen Dies at Scene Despite Paramedics’ Efforts

Officers were called to reports of a fight at 6:45pm on 3 September. Paramedics attended but the young victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Residents claim a heated argument in a nearby park sparked the stabbing.

Scene Cordoned Off as Detectives Hunt Killer

Crime scene officers sealed off the area with police tape and spent the evening gathering evidence. No arrests have been made so far, but detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Unit are leading the case.

Public Urged to Come Forward

A Met Police spokesman said: “A murder investigation has been launched after a teenage boy was stabbed yesterday evening. Next of kin have been informed and are being supported.”

A Section 60 order is in place across the borough of Newham until midday on 4 September to help maintain public order.
