Man Attacked and Sexually Assaulted in Crawley Woods
A 37-year-old man was set upon in broad daylight while walking through Ewhurst Wood near Crawley Avenue on Friday, October 30.
Shocking Assault in Quiet Footpath
Walking along Maiden Lane around 5pm, the victim noticed three men approaching. After a brief verbal spat, the trio dragged him off the footpath into nearby woods. The victim suffered minor injuries to his face, neck, and abdomen in the brutal assault.
Cash Stolen After Sexual Assault
The attackers then sexually assaulted the man and robbed him of cash before fleeing the scene.
Police Seek Public Help to Identify Suspects
- One suspect: Black, tall, wide build, distinctive hexagonal-plaited hair, surgical mask, Canada Goose jacket with brown fur hood.
- The other two: Both Asian; one wore a shark tooth design mask, the other an Adidas branded mask.
