When the cops tried to get the owner to shut up shop, she refused. Michelle Meade, 45, from Waltham Abbey, was arrested on the spot.
Charged Under Coronavirus Act 2020
Meade now faces charges for ignoring the order to close her business under the Coronavirus Act 2020. She is due in Southend Magistrates’ Court today, Friday 6 November 2020.
