Blaze Rips Through Downton Bungalow
Firefighters raced to a bungalow fire in Castle Meadow, Downton yesterday afternoon. Six fire engines arrived at the scene at 12:41 pm, battling fiercely to control the flames.
Roof and Property Devastated
The fire ripped through both the property and its roof structure, causing serious damage. Crews fought hard to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading.
Massive Cross-County Effort
Firefighters from six stations joined the fight: Fordingbridge, St Mary’s, Amesbury, Hamworthy, Cranborne, and Salisbury. Their combined efforts were crucial in tackling the blaze.
Thankfully, no injuries have been reported.
