Violent Robbery Shocks East Acton Tube Station
Police have released CCTV images after a brutal robbery on a Central Line train at East Acton Underground station.
Attack on Train and Platform
At 3.30pm on Wednesday, 9 February, a man and woman caused chaos on a westbound Central Line service. As the train pulled into East Acton, the man snatched a female passenger’s bag. When she tried to fight back, the woman with him dragged her off the train, shouting and slapping her in the face.
The victim was then shoved onto the platform floor and viciously punched and kicked repeatedly in the face by the female attacker. The man stole her phone before the group fled the scene.
