Blaze Tears Through Storage Units in Fiery Inferno

Two single-storey storage units and two containers went up in flames in a dramatic fire. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported so far.

Firefighters Battle Smoke and Flames

Station Commander Clive Robinson, who was on the scene, said: “Firefighters worked hard to bring the fire under control and stop it spreading to other units.” Thick smoke prompted warnings for nearby residents to keep doors and windows shut.

Massive Response to Fire

  • Fire Brigade received 18 emergency calls about the blaze.
  • The fire broke out at 7.13pm and was under control by 11.52pm.
  • Crews stayed on site all night to damp down hotspots.
  • Ten fire engines and about 70 firefighters from Hillingdon, Hayes, Heathrow, Southall, Ruislip, Harrow and nearby stations fought the blaze.
