Firefighters scrambled to tackle a huge blaze after a loud explosion rattled Dover. Thick black smoke billowed above the Asda supermarket in the Kent town, sending crowds into a frenzy.
Eyewitness Captures Dramatic Scenes
Graham Tutthill caught the chaos on video from the nearby Charlton Centre car park. Shoppers and locals watched in shock as smoke poured into the skyline.
Dover Charlton Centre car park caught fire and exploded. The fire station is only a few hundred yards away,” Graham revealed. “I had to call the fire service immediately.”
Emergency Services Respond
Kent Fire and Rescue have been contacted for comment. Details are still emerging as crews battle the fire.
