Mechanical Issues Have Caused The Two Hour Delay On Wightlink Between Portsmouth And The Isle Of Wight

Wightlink, the island ferry company, has announced delays of up to two hours on its Portsmouth-Fishbourne route today (Thursday).

Mechanical issues have caused the delay.

It’s not a good week for cross-Solent travel, with this news coming in the same week as Red Funnel workers go on strike over pay, disrupting both locals and tourists.

The other Wightlink service between Yarmouth and Lymington, on the other hand, is operating normally with no current delays.
