Tragic Death on A21: Woman Killed in Motorcycle Crash

Fatal Collision Rocks Robertsbridge

Police are hunting witnesses after a woman died in a crash on the A21 at John’s Cross near Robertsbridge on Sunday, October 16.

At around 12.15pm, emergency services rushed to the scene following reports of a smash between a red Ducati motorcycle and a black Mercedes.

Motorcyclist Dies at Scene

The 48-year-old rider from Kent was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed of the devastating loss.

Meanwhile, the occupants of the car escaped without injuries.

Driver Arrested But Released Under Investigation

The 63-year-old Robertsbridge man behind the wheel of the Mercedes was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving. He has since been freed under investigation as police probe the incident further.

Police Appeal for Witnesses
